Portrait of Sachin Tendulkar - November 2013

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar- a name that not only an Indian but also every human has in their mind. It’s quite a wonder how this guy started his career at a very tender age of sixteen and soon became the talk of the town with an excellent exhibition of his skills on the field. He portrays the God Of Cricket and so does his journey r...ight from the beginning to the end .This Indian cricketer is today counted among the most accomplished batsmen of the present times. The excellence he has shown on the field is the reason behind his immense success as a cricketer. The several world records he has created are incredible and a sheer exhibition of excellence as well as experience gained over the years. Sometimes it appeared as if he is competing with none other than himself. His career has been remarkable with the prolific number of runs he has scored in the one-days as well as the test matches. He is indeed one of the most worthy cricket icon, the world has ever seen. Some of the records made by him are still unbeaten.

Throughout his ODI career Sachin has played in six World Cups beginning from the year 1992 and eventually saw success in his last appearance in the game when India overpowered Sri Lanka in the final in his own home city Mumbai on the 2nd April, 2011. The overwhelmed team mates carried him off the pitch on the shoulders as the game came to an end.

On his retirement, we see everyone biding a good bye in their own way. I dedicate this art to the GOD OF CRICKET with a big Thank you. I hope team India inspires Sachin to believe in his dreams

Flamingo - May 2012

Flamingos are among the world’s most beautiful Tall birds. One can easily recognize them because they are famous for spending so much time standing on one leg. Covered with pretty pink plumage, black-tipped bills and a large downward-pointing beak, flamingos can often be seen flying in large flocks. With their long neck and legs, they look very attractive when in flight. I have portrayed this in this ART where you can see a beautiful tall flamingo besides which is a small chick and you can also spot a fantastic flight on that sunny evening.... Oops Its not Pink now, Black and White Flamingos, here they are..

Tiger - April 2012

Not only is tiger a beautiful animal but it is also the indicator of the forest's health. The more tigers we can save, the more healthier reserves we have, larger is our national carbon sink, thus Tigers = Forests = Less Carbon + Water = US. I deeply believe Forest resources are incredible and we should definitely Conserve them.. Tiger makes the presence of Forest.. I believe this ART would convey the message of Tiger Conservation, I feel proud that I form a small part in spreading the message through this art......

Water Buck - May 2010

It's a male Waterbuck and it has sharp pointed horns that are curved backwards and upwards and are prominently ringed. It's a distinguishing feature as females do not have horns. This long haired antelope is found in Africa. I was very much attracted by it size and horns, it more resembled a big bull.. It was challenging to finish the horns, but as whole the portrait makes a replica of how a Waterbuck would look like!!

Dheeran Chinnamalai - June 2009

Dheeran Chinnamalai (Tamil:தீரன் சின்னமலை) was a Kongu chieftain who rose up in revolt against the British East India Company in the Kongu Nadu, Southern India. He is held with high regard by the Gounder community who continue use him as a symbol of Independence for the community. Belonging to the same community I feel honored and proud sketching him.. In fact this portrait was the inspiration that told me "U can do" and took me to where i am now.
